How to Create an Account

Creating a LogCentral account is quick and free. You can sign up using your email address or through social authentication providers.

  1. Go to app.logcentral.io
  2. Click Sign Up or Get Started
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters)
  5. Click Create Account
  6. Check your email for a verification link
  7. Click the verification link to activate your account

LogCentral supports quick registration through:

  • Google - Sign up with your Google account
  • GitHub - Perfect for developers and DevOps teams
  • Microsoft - Use your work or personal Microsoft account

Simply click the provider button on the sign-up page and authorize LogCentral to access your basic profile information.

Once your account is created, you’ll be guided through the initial setup:

  1. Create your first organization - This is your workspace for managing logs
  2. Create a location - Define where your logs will come from
  3. Configure log forwarding - Point your devices to LogCentral

It’s important to understand the difference:

  • Account = Your personal login (email + password or social auth)
  • Organization = A workspace for logs (can have multiple users)

One account can belong to multiple organizations, and one organization can have multiple user accounts.

If using email registration, your password must:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Contain a mix of letters and numbers (recommended)
  • Not be a commonly used password
  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Ensure you entered the correct email address
  3. Wait a few minutes and try requesting a new verification email
  4. Contact support if issues persist
  1. Ensure pop-ups are allowed for app.logcentral.io
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  4. Check that your social account is in good standing

If you’re seeing “email already registered”:

  1. You may have signed up previously
  2. Try the password reset flow
  3. Or try signing in with a social provider linked to that email

After creating your account:

  1. Create an organization
  2. Create your first location
  3. Send your first logs
  • LogCentral uses secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS)
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
  • Social login uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0
  • You can enable additional security in your account settings
