Creating a location in LogCentral is very easy and takes less than 1 minute!

If you don't already have an organization, create one first.

Select the organization (1) in which you want to create a location and go to the "Locations" (2) Menu, then click "Add your first location" if it is the first location you're creating :

Then a window opens for you to type the new location name:

Pick a name that best represents your location (for example Offices Paris) and click Create.

The location will be provisionned on our servers and in a matter of seconds, you'll have access to the IPv4 and IPv6 & port to which you can send your syslogs :

By default, a location is disabled because you need to add your public IPs, scroll to the appropriate section to add them:

Once you've added at least one of your public IPs, you can then enable a location & it can start receiving logs.
