  2. Then to the desired location

  3. Go to the archives section at the bottom of the page for that specific location

  4. The page can be accessed at: /organizations/:orgId/locations/:locationId/archives

Note: You'll need to have the appropriate location selected to view its archived logs.

Main Features

The Archived Logs Page includes two primary functions:

The Cold Search feature allows you to search through your archived log data. This is useful when you need to find specific information from logs that are no longer in active storage.

  • The search interface is collapsible, giving you more screen space when not in use

  • Search through logs that have been moved to cold storage

  • Retrieve historical data for analysis or compliance purposes

Downloads

The Downloads section lets you retrieve archived log files:

  • View and manage your archived log downloads

  • Access previously archived data

  • The downloads interface is also collapsible for better page organization

Common Use Cases

Here are some typical scenarios where you'll use the Archived Logs Page:

Compliance and Auditing: When you need to review historical logs for compliance requirements or audit trails, you can search through archived data without affecting your active log storage.

Troubleshooting Historical Issues: If you're investigating a problem that occurred in the past, you can search through archived logs to understand what happened.

Data Retrieval: When you need to download older log files for analysis or record-keeping, the downloads feature provides easy access to your archived data.

Storage Management: Access archived logs that have been moved to cold storage to optimize your active storage usage while maintaining access to historical data.

Important Notes

  • The Archived Logs Page is location-specific, meaning you'll see archived logs for the currently selected location

  • Make sure you have the correct location selected before searching for archived data

  • If you encounter any issues accessing the page, verify that the location exists and that you have appropriate permissions
