🔍 Choosing the Right Plan

Here are some guidelines & considerations to help pick your plan:

1. Estimate Your Log Volume

  • Start by estimating how much raw log data (in megabytes or gigabytes) you’ll ingest per day.

  • If your logs are consistently below 250 MB/day, Light may suffice. For bursts or higher steady usage, Business or Enterprise might be better fits.

  • You can use our free trial to evaluate how much data your network generates.

2. Location & User Limits

  • Each plan comes with a maximum number of locations (i.e. physical/log sources) and users.

    • Light → 2 locations, 2 users

    • Business → 10 locations, 10 users

    • Enterprise → 100 locations, 10 users

  • If you expect to scale your infrastructure significantly (many sites, integrations, or users), lean toward Business or Enterprise, or even Custom Enterprise.

3. Annual vs. Monthly

  • You can pay monthly or commit to a yearly plan.

  • Annual pricing gives a cost advantage compared to paying month-to-month.

4. When to Upgrade

  • If you’re hitting your ingestion cap frequently.

  • If you need to add more locations or users beyond what’s allowed in your current plan.

  • If your growth trajectory suggests your log volume will scale.


🤔 FAQs & Guidance

Q: What happens if I exceed my daily limit?
A: We recommend upgrading to the next tier to avoid overage. (You can contact support in edge cases.)

Q: Can log archival retention be extended beyond 1 year?
A: Currently, 1 year archival is included across all plans. For longer retention or custom policies, contact our team.

Q: Can I mix-and-match features (e.g. more users but lower ingestion)?
A: Not within the standard tiers. For custom configurations, please reach out and we’ll see what we can offer (especially for enterprise customers).

Q: Is any free tier available?
A: We don’t have a “free” plan. The Light plan is the lowest-cost tier. But there is our free trial, without the need of a credit card.
